District Rules & Information
Water Usage
The District allows 7 us gallons per minute per acre for Irrigation purposes. Our water is not metered at the point of use. Please water responsibly. Move sprinklers often, shut off watering equipment if there is significant rainfall (this includes automatic systems). Most control clocks have provisions for a rain sensor which will automatically shut off the system when it rains.
Irrigation
Irrigation season starts around April 15th and ends around October 15th. Exact dates of startup and shutdown are dependant upon the weather.
It is up to the Owners to maintain their equipment, leaks waste water. Regular maintenance helps conserve water and provides more uniform water distribution for crops.
System Maintenance Access
The District reserves a permanent right-of way for all distribution infrastructure. Property owners must ensure clear access to valves and standpipes. Unauthorized modification of District infrastructure is subject to immediate penalty and service suspension.
District Funding
The district is 100% funded by the users (with the sole exception of the weekly water samples).
